Ethanol Production for the week ending on 12/9/22 was down 16,000 barrels per day compared to the week of 12/2/22.
Ethanol Stocks are the bigger surprise this week with an ethanol stocks build of 1,152,000 barrels bringing the total ethanol stocks to 24,409,000 barrels.
As you can see on the bottom chart, it is common to have ethanol inventory builds this time of year. On the other hand, the current situation of ethanol stocks is higher for the time of year compared to recent history.
