Sri Lanka’s Agriculture Forces Residents to Seek Loans

Sri Lanka’s Agriculture Dip Forces Residents to Seek Loans to Pay For Necessities.

Approximately 40% of households in Sri Lanka rely on agriculture as their primary source of income. From June to December 2022, 20% of these households experienced a reduction in income. In response to this situation, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appealed for support from all individuals and groups, regardless of political affiliation.
