Morning Grain Market Technical Outlook – June 6, 2025
The morning grain market technical outlook shows softness across most major contracts in early trading. Corn is pressing support, soybeans are slipping off recent highs, and wheat markets are coiling beneath near-term resistance. Volatility remains compressed, but conditions may not hold.
🌽 Corn (ZCN25) – Currently Trading Around 436’0
Corn futures are last traded near 436’0, slipping from the 444’0 rejection earlier this week. Momentum has clearly shifted downward, with rising risk of a breakdown through the 434’0–432’0 support zone. Bulls need a quick reclaim of 440’0 to shift sentiment.
🌱 Soybeans (ZSN25) – Early Markets at 1047’2
Soybeans are trading near 1047’2 in early action, down slightly after fading from a weekly high near 1056. Price remains inside a broader range, but short-term bias has turned soft. Support at 1045’0 is key — a break below could target 1040–1038 quickly.
🌾 Chicago Wheat (ZWN25) – Currently Around 542’2
Chicago wheat is hovering near 542’2 this morning, continuing to compress inside a narrow coil. Resistance remains overhead at 546–548, while downside moves have been shallow. A clean breakout above 548’0 could invite technical momentum toward 554’0.
🌾 Kansas City Wheat (KWN25) – Trading Near 625’0
HRW wheat is currently quoted near 625’0. Price continues to hold just under resistance at 627’0, forming a tight coil. Higher lows persist, but upside commitment remains limited. A breakout above 628’0 would be the trigger for trend extension.
🌾 Minneapolis Spring Wheat (MWN25) – Trading Near 624’0
Spring wheat is trading near 624’0, still locked in a narrowing range. Resistance sits at 627’0 with support at 621. The market is showing classic consolidation behavior — and whichever side breaks first could spark a fast move.
🔍 Outlook
Friday’s early session shows calm surface action — but tightening structures across corn, wheat, and beans suggest volatility is loading. Chart setups are leaning directional, and the next clean breakout could define early tone into next week’s USDA reports and weather catalysts.
