Corn net sales of 251,700 metric tons (MT) showed a significant increase. The sales were up by 79 percent compared to the previous week. Up 62 percent compared to the average of the past four weeks. The main contributors to the increase were Mexico with 148,900 MT (including a decrease of 26,100 MT). Japan with 131,200 MT (including 129,400 MT switched from unknown destinations and a decrease of 3,500 MT). Guatemala with 35,700 MT (including 30,000 MT switched from unknown destinations, 7,500 MT switched from Honduras, 6,000 MT switched from Costa Rica, and a decrease of 3,900 MT), Taiwan with 12,600 MT, and the Dominican Republic with 9,600 MT. However, there were reductions in sales primarily for unknown destinations (64,600 MT), Honduras (23,600 MT), Jamaica (11,200 MT), Costa Rica (5,400 MT), and Colombia (1,400 MT).
Soybeans
SOYBEANS net sales of 187,800 metric tons (MT) decreased by 17 percent compared to the previous week. Down 45 percent compared to the average of the past four weeks. The main increases in sales were seen for Indonesia with 78,500 MT (including 55,400 MT switched from unknown destinations and a decrease of 5,600 MT). the Netherlands with 56,600 MT (including 62,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and a decrease of 5,400 MT). Mexico with 55,600 MT (including a decrease of 200 MT), Egypt with 30,000 MT, and Japan with 26,700 MT (including 9,700 MT switched from unknown destinations). However, there were reductions in sales for unknown destinations amounting to 72,100 MT.
Wheat
WHEAT net sales of 405,800 metric tons (MT) were reported. The primary contributors were Mexico with 111,400 MT (including a decrease of 100 MT). Philippines with 108,400 MT (including a decrease of 9,000 MT), Japan with 71,800 MT. Brazil with 57,200 MT (including 31,900 MT switched from unknown destinations and 25,300 MT switched from Nigeria).South Korea with 35,100 MT. However, there were reductions in sales for unknown destinations amounting to 33,500 MT. Additionally, for 2024/2025, there were net sales reductions of 3,000 MT specifically for Ecuador.
